The Franchise Workshop is a coordinated effort with Choice Franchise Advisors, LLC a franchise brokerage agency founded in 2012 by Sidney H. Lee after transitioning from a very successful career in Strategic Business Development and Licensed Stores with Starbucks Coffee Company and Seattle’s Best Coffee.
The Franchise Workshop was created to fill a twofold void;
1. To provide detailed education and insight into the franchising industry for people who are hoping to transition into the world of business ownership
2. To offer emerging franchisors a cost effective, yet full service, Franchise Development service to free up the new franchisor to focus on refining the franchise offering.
After graduating from Salisbury University in Maryland, Sid began his career in Hospitality and F&B Management and worked in distribution, purchasing and procurement, as a GM and Director of F&B at a major hotel and conference Center. He went on to own and operate a successful 250 seat, full service restaurant on the commercial docks in Ocean City, MD.
After leaving the entrepreneurial world Sid cut his teeth in franchising at a very high level working first in franchise operational support and then moving to fractional franchise development in non-traditional sites and on to standard franchise development in traditional sites.
Sid’s greatest achievements included winning the prestigious “Starbucks Presidents Award” for outstanding relationship management, account development and growth, but his most inspiring and treasured honor was earned when he was presented the “Spirit of Starbucks” award for superior effort and success leading a team of business partners in a targeted effort to improve customer service and increase sales with Starbucks largest strategic partner. Sid earned his CFB (Certified Franchise Broker) designation and was awarded the bronze medal for “Broker of The Year” with the Franchise Brokers Association in 2014 and most recently was awarded a 2019 Star Award by the Franchise Media Update Group for “Best Telephone Prospect Follow up” in an audited campaign of 140 franchises.
Sid’s career of achievement and experience include serving as Vice President of Development with Cheeseboy, Grilled Cheese to Go, a startup QSR , into entrepreneurship in founding Choice Franchise Advisors and The Franchise Workshop and then on to become the Director of Franchise Sales with Launch Entertainment Parks.
Sid’s experience as a successful operator, entrepreneur, top to top relationship manager with a global enterprise and on to success in franchise sales and development has led to his unique philosophy in driving growth;

Today Sid is a franchise industry professional, with experience in all aspects of sales, support, legal administration, budgeting and strategic growth, who is looking for another opportunity to help an emerging brand grow, and develop their footprint and culture.
Sid currently resides in Palm Coast, Florida with his wife, Lisa, and 2 Golden retrievers and daughter, Ally, a proud “Bull” at USF in Tampa, FL.
